LCJFS is currently looking for Foster Parents. The goal of LCJFS is to provide services to families in crisis so that children can safely remain in their homes. Sometimes, despite our efforts, it is not safe for children to remain in their home-requiring children to be temporarily placed with relatives or with foster parents until the safety issues are resolved.
The number of children needing a safe temporary home has significantly increased, creating a shortage of available local foster homes. Keeping children within their own communities during this temporary separation is most beneficial to the child and parents while they work toward reunification.
